My Listicle

The approach I want to take for my listicle is to describe what I tend to bring for each different trip. Depending on how far my trip will be, will decide on what I pack with me; as well how much I will need(depending how long I'll be gone). I feel many people don't think there is a lot to consider when it comes to traveling by car or they think they have to pack absolutely everything for something as simple as a weekend trip.

Must Need For Each Trip!

Depending on how far one will be traveling may vary with some of these options. Typically, these would be the items to bring with you majority of the time:

• A Cooler(food/drinks) with Ice

• Spare Ice

• Lip Balm/Chapstick

• Sunscreen

• Water Bottle

• Cool Towel(depending on the weather)

• Hand Warmers(depending on the weather)

• Bug Spray

• First Aid Kit

• Folding Lawn Chair(for those watching)

• Pain Pills

• Portable Wagon(bigger party attending)

• Canopy(again for bigger party or just to keep cool during warm days)

• Maybe Spare Clothing/Swimsuits/Shoes/Jacket

• Deodorant and Perfume/Cologne

• Extra Cash

• Softball Gear(more info later)

• Emergency Car Kit(more info later)

• Navigation

• Phone Charging Cord/Portable Charger

• Feminine Products

Weekend Tournament

Weekend trips could be a span from 2-4 days. Some may vary with where one may be staying(hotel/motel, camping, friends house, etc.)

• Overnight(s) Bag(essentials: toiletries, clothing)

• Sleeping Bag/ Pillow(s) and Blanket

• Tent with Accessories Necessary

• Space Heater/Cordless Fan(depending on the weather)

• Portable Grill

• Game Break Activities(board games, card games, etc.)

• Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash/Razor

• Hat/Sunglasses

Week Long Trip

This could be a span of 5-8 days. Some may still stay in hotel rooms for a week long trip, there is the option of Airbnb with friends/teammates, or there are those who camp all week long.

• Suitcase(clothing, toiletries, shoes, etc.)

• Pillow(s) and Blanket

• Activities

• Shampoo/Conditioner/Body Wash/Razor

• Space Heater/Cordless Fan(depending on the weather)

• Tent with Accessories Necessary

• Hat/Sunglasses

• Flashlight

Emergency Car Kit

An Emergency Car Kit is a very important thing to have in your car, period. These are some of the important things to carry with you along your journey. In case you break down on the side of the road, get stranded because of weather conditions or maybe just to have a spare of something if forgotten at any point.

• Tools(Set of Wrenches, Jumper Cables, Car Jack, etc.)

• Roll of Toilet Paper

• Hand Sanitizer/Anti-Bacterial Wipes

• Spare Clothes(warm and cold)

• Snacks and Drinks

• Flashlight

• Extra Charging Cords

• Roadside Flares

• Water Bottle

• Pocket Knife

• Fire Starter(matches, lighter fluid, lighter, etc.)

• Fire Extinguisher

Softball Gear

For each softball trip, there is the necessity of the gear to bring along with you. There may be a couple extra items that may not be considered for some and that's ok. No one is going to have everything in their bags completely the same.

• Helmet(Fastpitch)

• Mitt(s) and Balls(bucket or just a few)

• Cleats(rubber, metal or turf spikes)

• Bat(s)

• Batting Gloves

• Pre-wrap and Athletic/Medical Tape

• Pain Pills

• Visor/Hair Bows(Fastpitch)

• Sunglasses

• Eyeblack(Fastpitch)

• Stain Remover Pen(blood)

• Braces/Compression Sleeves(wrist, ankle, foot, knee, etc.)

I hope this was helpful one way or another, there may have been a few things I have forgotten or didn't consider as something I would bring. I wanted to cover the majority of things that would be considered important and/or a common item. Again, there are so many possibilities for what one may consider, but for me traveling long distances at a time I have learned to shorten the necessities to a minimum.
